Villamartin:
Established over 20 years ago, Villamartin is without doubt one of the finest golf and residencial complexes on the whole of the Costa Blanca, having hosted the Mediterranean Open in 1994. It is set in lush natural parkland, with olive trees and colourful Oleander lining the fairways. Playing over undulating fairways to well protected greens, no two holes are alike on this superb course. A ravine comes into play on the inward part of the course and the par 5 14th and the par 3 17th are spectacular holes on a course that is always in excellent condition. Las Ramblas:
This course offers, as the name suggests, a wonderful rambling course through valleys and over rugged terrain with the occasional water hazard, an excellent challenge! Maybe not for the fainthearted. Las Ramblas was opened in 1991, and offers a challenge for all standards of player. This course has excellent views and is very mountainous with a dramaticaly contrasting landscape; the rocky terrain is spectacular, with elevated tees, narrow fairways and lightning fast greens. Careful planning is required to play well on this course. Course detail: 18 Hole, Par 72, 5770m. Professional/Men/Ladies tees plus a driving range. Green fee: approx` 42 euros. Campoamor:
Only two miles from Villamartin, Campoamor was opened in 1989 and, although not as hazardous as Villamartin, it is the most panoramic of the courses in the region. The expansive fairways, excellent greens and the lakes deceive the player somewhat, making this is a long and testing course with six "dog legs" to keep you on your toes. Campoamor has a new majestic clubhouse and restaurant and offers the usual services such as club and trolley hire and practice areas. Course detail: 18 Holes, Par 71, 5830m. Las Colinas:
The golf course extends across the valley between the hills, adapts to the unusual lie of the land and blends naturally into the landscape. The width of its fairways, the design of its extensive undulating greens, and the numerous tees at each hole give it great versatility and mean that it is suitable for professional competitions, while also offering any player a pleasant, enjoyable and affordable game. The average golfer will find a pleasant mixture of holes with some delightful par 3 holes of little over 100 metres to the par 5 eleventh which measures 534 metres (590 yards) from the yellow tees and an incredible 590 metres (649 yards) from the competition tees.
